S&M Moving Systems has taken cost-effective processes and industry standard practices and created technology-based solutions that can be custom tailored to our customer’s requirements. Our Internet-based systems provide timely and accurate data and information regarding your global program. We are dedicated to providing the latest in innovative and cost-effective technology solutions. Utilizing the Internet and our customized solution system, we can tailor a solution for a customer’s needs and create an exchange of information to their system in a rapid fashion. Our environment allows for secure logins for our customers and data is stored securely in separate databases or servers insuring accuracy and integrity of information. Our server farms are secured through redundant connections, hourly backups and power protected. Our web site provides our customers with a unique suite of solutions. Our systems are proprietary and the only requirement is access to the internet and a login and password supplied by us. The systems are all web-based and include management reporting and tracking capabilities as well as a website for employees moving that includes document management, shipment tracking and access to relevant information regarding their destination.
SYSTEMS
LCenter™ is our proprietary Transportation Management (TMS) system and is our core database for information to our customers. It has been developed over a period of 14 years and is web based and written in Microsoft VS10 C#. This core system provides all of customer service and billing needs as well as facilitating all B2B communications, integration with our WMS and ERP systems and automating communication and data feeds to our offices and strategic partners around the globe. Our Warehouse Management System (WMS) is RedPrairie® and is deployed throughout our warehouses in the United States, Costa Rica and Malaysia. This world class WMS tracks and locates all shipments and inventory within our warehouses and can be deployed quickly to other temporary locations as needed. Lastly we utilize Microsoft Dynamics® GP as our ERP solution. All of our systems are fully integrated and this integration invisible to our customers allowing them to have access to all of their data through a single login and web-based portal.
REPORTING
Standard reporting includes real-time reports for Shipment Status, Shipment Delivery, Cost Reports and Cancelled Moves. All reports can be manipulated online and each unique user can save their personal report formatting. Not only is management reporting and real-time data available, but also relocation policies, destination information through UniGroup’s Global Road Warrior, request for shipments, manipulation of data and many other options are available. Reports can be viewed, filtered and sorted directly on the web site and then emailed to anyone as an ExcelÒ spreadsheet anytime necessary. UniGroup’s Global Road Warrior is a US$35,000 product and offered to customers on a complimentary basis. Automated processes to notify key business partners of events such as shipment requests, changes in milestones, exceptions, etc. that occurs in the process can be setup insuring all parties have the same information all the time. Additionally, all of claims, exception tracking and corrective action processes are all automated via our web site.

ESCALATION & TRACKING
To track SLA issues we have the ability to create exceptions for any discrete data element. If, during a data entry process, a value entered is determined to be an exception, the user is required to document the exception. This includes selecting a predefined exception category as well as providing an explanation of why the exception occurred. Reports are available that reflect an Agent’s overall compliance to a defined exception. Drill down capability exists that allows users at all levels to view each individual shipment that negatively impacted the compliance report. Automated task management systems serve to manage, delegate and solicit process updates allowing our move management teams to concentrate on customer service tasks and enhance customer satisfaction. By design, automated “Early Warning” system-generated messages preclude service disruption and preempt problem escalation. Tasks not completed or updated within 24 hours trigger system-generated “Yellow Flag” messages to the appropriate supervisor, with an information copy to the Director of Operations. Failure to respond to a “Yellow Flag” within 24 hours triggers a “Red Flag” message to the Director of Operations with an information copy to the Vice President of Global Operations. “Red Flags” are treated with the highest degree of urgency in our organization.
DATA CENTER SECURITY
Our systems are Microsoft based utilizing a Microsoft SQL Server data warehouse and ASP and ASP.net based solutions via a secure 128-bit encrypted Internet connection. Our environment allows for secure logins for our customers and data is stored securely in separate databases or servers insuring accuracy and integrity of information. Our server farms are secured in a collocation Tier-1 environment at I/O Data Centers in Phoenix, Arizona. This configuration provides an “always-on” network service through redundant connections, hourly backups in both physical and virtual environments and redundant power sources resulting in a 100% uptime SLA. Data is secured in our encrypted database for protected information (i.e. DOB, SSN, etc.) Information from our Customers is transmitted via a secured FTP site and electronically entered into the database. Our goal is to provide real-time data access, global availability, secure internet connection, EDI Standards via secure FTP, optional RosettaNet standards, 24/7/365 availability, normal support available business hours MST U.S. and emergency support 24/7/365.
